  Caesar suddenly chuckled and continued, "enough talk about depressing topics, shall we spar again?"

  Edward furrowed his brows and adverted his gaze. "I think I will pass on that offer," he said quietly.

  "Haha, well, the next time we have the chance, let's play for a bit," Caesar laughed loudly and teased Edward.

  Edward scratched the back of his head and nodded awkwardly, seeing this Caesar's lips curled, and he walked out of the training grounds. He then lifted his hand and said, "Edward, I have no ulterior motive for helping you… Don't worry."

  Edward didn't get a chance to respond before Caesar disappeared. He walked quickly through the streets, toward the palace. "My father and those nobles quickly agreed to change to the military system I suggested, why did they agree so fast?" Caesar contemplated to himself

  Caesar soon arrived at the palace while still rooted in contemplation.

  "Young master, how did the meeting with the merchants guild go?" Sebastian asked curiously, seeing Caesar walk up the stairs silently.

  Caesar was broken out of his deep thoughts and raised his eyes… "It went decently, do you have any information on that woman named Veronica?" Caesar asked while walking with Sebastian.

  "She is a regional manager of the Merchants Guild. She handles the branches that reside in the northern kingdoms in the continent. From my understanding, she is quite a big fish."

  Caesar nodded his head, "how much influence does she hold within the guild?"

  "There should be about 20 regional managers, ten staff managers and five public relations within the guild, of course, the guild leader is on top… regional managers hold a lot of power, but they are not nearly at the top." Sebastian said after thinking for a while.

  Caesar and Sebastian continued walking through the palace while talking, "Sebastian, does my father know that I am leaving Rahvin kingdom soon?" Caesar abruptly changed the topic and asked curiously

  Sebastian bowed and couldn't help but form a complicated smile on his face… "he had asked me, and I told him, I cannot hide anything from my lord."

  "I had expected something like that would happen, what was his reaction?" Caesar asked curiously.

  "He was surprised at first and then stressed… He kept muttering things along the lines of 'the baby bird has to leave the nest sooner or later' with a desolate look on his face," Sebastian said teasingly.

  "Haha, it's not as though I am leaving forever…" Caesar roared with laughter, and Sebastian just carried a wry smile.

  Sebastian and Caesar soon reached the main halls and split apart, Caesar looked towards Sebastian and smiled deviously "keep Elizabeth occupied for tonight," he said slowly.

  Sebastian sighed deeply and nodded his head before changing directions.

  Caesar walked through the long halls and soon reached a wooden door labeled with the number 71, he smiled slightly and turned the doorknob.

  Caesar closed the door behind him and locked it. He looked at the surprised Renee that had a bundle of sheets covering her body.

  "Have you been holed up in your room all day?" He asked slyly

  "T-that is because last night you said we would… continue," Renee's voice went lower and lower until she sounded similar to a mosquito.

  Caesar walked over to her and sat at the end of the bed. He reached out with his slender fingers and caressed her hair. "Do you not want to continue?" he asked tenderly.

  "I-it's not like that. It's just l-last time we were in the heat of the moment… so, I-I am embarrassed" Renee flushed furiously and put her face in the covers.

  Caesar leaned over and kissed the back of her head, he moved his head down and whispered in her ear… "this is the last time we will be alone for a lengthy time, leave your body to me and let me take the lead" He said seductively which made Renee flinch.

  CHAPTER TWELVE

  The next morning Caesar was spooning Renee as they laid in bed. Their calm and peaceful sleeping expressions showed no evidence of the energetic night they just had.

  "Ahem, young master and misses Renee, breakfast is ready" Sebastian's cleared his throat and said slightly embarrassed.

  The entire palace had heard the loud moans of pleasure last night.

  Caesar slowly lifted his upper body with a more refreshed face than ever before and smiled brightly "we will be right there, Sebastian" he said as he caressed Renee's soft hair and looked at her lovingly.

  Caesar brushed Renee's straight hair softly, causing her to twitch her ears and her eyelashes cutely.

  Renee slowly lifted her upper body and rubbed her sleepy eyes, she put one arm in the air, stretched and yawned loudly.

  She abruptly opened her large beautiful eyes and scanned the room with curiosity; her line of sight soon landed on Caesar, who was looking at her with a sly smile.

  Her gaze naturally went down, and once she realized he was fully nude, she remembered what had happened last night, and her face turned completely crimson.

  She averted her gaze and slowly stepped off the bed once she put one step down. A stinging pain assaulted her hips and nether regions.

  Renee yelped in pain and fell back down towards the bed, contrary to her expectations, she didn't fall on to the soft bed, but instead, she was caught in Caesar's embrace.

  She looked glanced at Caesar begrudgingly, "this is your fault for doing it so long."

  "Haha, it felt good for you too, didn't it?" Caesar laughed loudly and picked Renee up in a princess-like carry. He walked towards the bathroom and started preparing a bath.

  Caesar stepped into the large square bath and placed Renee on his lap, and he helped Renee clean her hair and body. Once he finished cleaning her, he moved on to scrubbing himself.

  Once he was finished, he lifted Renee once again and dried her, "I can do it myself, you know?" Renee said quietly.

  Caesar continued using the towel to gently dry her body "take this as my apology for being too rough last night," Caesar said with a wide smile.

  Renee rolled her eyes as Caesar continued to dry her off.

  After about 30 seconds, Caesar finally finished grooming both Renee and himself. After which, he carried her back to the bed and looked at her closet with a complicated expression.

  "Do you have any male clothes in your closet?" Caesar asked curiously.

  "Haha, If I did, wouldn't you be angry?" Renee chuckled softly and replied.

  Caesar nodded his head with a playful smile; he walked over to the thrown clothes from last night and picked up the slightly tight black pants and a white shirt.

  His muscles showed through the tight shirt and looked as though they were about to pop out, he put his belt and military boots on and turned around.

  "How do I look?" he asked Renee.

  "You should dress casually more often," Renee said briefly before slightly averting her gaze.

  "Haha, I will take that as a compliment," Caesar laughed gracefully and started rummaging through Renee's closet.

  Soon a piece of clothing caught Caesar's attention. He pulled it out and widened his eyes in shock "this looks very similar to a Japanese kimono," he thought inwardly.

  "That is my clan's ancestral clothing," Renee said after seeing Caesar's shocked expression.

  Caesar nodded his head slowly and brought the dress back to the still nude Renee.

  "Do you want me to wear this?" Renee asked suspiciously.

  Caesar nodded his head and slowly started to help her put it on… Renee looked at him with curiosity, "how do you know how to put this on?" she asked, dumbfounded.

  "I will tell you on a different day," Caesar muttered out with a calm expression.

  It was a slim and luxurious kimono; it was a deep shade of violet and had beautiful cherry blossoms stretched across it.

  Once Caesar tied the sash, he stepped back and fully studied her new look… He nodded up and down in admiration, "excellent, just as I had expected" he voiced out his approval
.

  "Hmph, of course," contrary to her words, she still carried a happy smile on her face when complimented.

  Renee still felt pain when walking by herself, so she leaned on Caesar… Her prior embarrassment of being too close was thrown out the window after they had done the deed.

  Caesar didn't mind and helped her walk. He opened the door and walked with her through the halls towards the dining room.

  The maids and butlers they walked by would all blush and avert their gaze when they saw the both of them. Pride gleamed on Renee's face as she stared at all of the jealous maids.

  Seeing this scene made Caesar almost incapable of holding back his laughter, Caesar and Renee soon made it to the dining room doors.

  He pushed open the doors and looked inside, Elizabeth, Joe, and surprisingly his father were all waiting for them at the dining table.

  "Ahem, sit, my son" Crowley cleared his throat and gestured for Caesar to sit down beside him.

  Caesar walked over and sat in the seat Crowley gestured too. He could feel Joe's glare on his back as he walked.

  Caesar pulled out a chair for Renee and himself and sat down, once seated, a few butlers came out with trays of food and placed them in front of everyone gracefully.

  Crowley glanced at Caesar with disapproval "son, you must take care of your image as crown prince… You can't just let the entire world hear… that," Crowley found it challenging to find the words to explain.

  Caesar just shrugged his shoulders. "It wasn't exactly my fault. It was so loud," Caesar said teasingly and could feel Renee flinch in embarrassment beside him.

  "Uncle Sebastian told me mommy and daddy were playing a fun game and couldn't contain their shouts of joy, can I play with you guys next time?" Elizabeth called out playfully from the other end of the table.

  Caesar coughed twice into his right fist and looked towards Elizabeth seriously. "Uncle Sebastian is a pervert. Those were shouts of sadness that you happened to hear. Do you still want to play that game with mommy and daddy?"

  Elizabeth's smile disappeared, and she put on a contemplating expression, "nuh-uh, not if it makes me sad."

  Caesar nodded his head in approval, "that's my girl."

  He could feel another pair of eyes glare at him from behind, but he didn't pay it much heed, he started to eat the breakfast placed in front of him… It consisted of simple ham, eggs, toast, bacon, and salad.

  "How is the implementation of the military I suggested," Caesar asked curiously as he bit into a piece of toast

  "Sigh, I have managed to convince most of the officials; however, many of them still disagree... " Crowley sighed loudly and said in an exasperated tone.

  "Who are the main opposition to you and your faction?" Caesar asked another question curiously

  "Surprisingly, the entire right-wing has accepted the new military. It is the financial wing that is still hesitant."

  Caesar nodded his head slowly "The financial cost of upkeeping an army is indeed drastic, especially when you gain a sudden increase of population" Caesar said

  "The reason why it is taking so long is because the financial wing wants to test the insurance thing first. If it works, they will gladly accept paying for the new military," Crowley said with relief.

  "The problem is, making such a huge change and getting all of the citizens to understand it is going to take a long time," Caesar replied after thinking for a second.

  "Alas, that is why we have promised the soldiers that we will be changing systems in a month, but I'm afraid it may end up being longer than that."

  "I see, the soldiers are training extra hard… Don't make them wait too long," Caesar said with a solemn expression.

  "Well, enough talking about me… I heard from Sebastian you are leaving soon?" Crowley turned towards Caesar and asked with a slightly sad tone.

  "Yes, I will be leaving in three days… I will be back soon, though," Caesar replied and continued eating breakfast.

  "Where are you going? And what are you doing?" Crowley asked again in confusion.

  "My business requires me to move around. I will be going to a different kingdom in a faraway place… I'm not sure how long I will be gone."

  "Hmmm, do you want some guards to accompany you?" Crowley hummed and asked after thinking for a minute.

  "I will be taking Renee, Joe, and possibly a few others with me… I will travel incognito, so there shouldn't be a problem with safety," Caesar answered back.

  "What? Daddy and mommy are leaving!?!?" Elizabeth cried out in shock from the table and ran towards Caesar, jumping in his arms.

  Caesar rubbed her hair and whispered into her ear, soothingly, "don't worry, darling. I will bring back many presents, also, I hope to see that you are doing well in school when I return."

  Elizabeth nestled in Caesar's chest "Hmph, you think you can bribe me with gifts? You underestimate me."

  Caesar kissed her forehead. "I will buy you a beautiful teddy flame bear and give you lots of those sweets you love," Caesar said teasingly.

  "Y-you mean it? I-I guess I can allow you to leave for the time being then" Elizabeth puffed up her cheeks and said hesitantly.

  "Haha, I will be back sooner or later, don't worry” Caesar chuckled out loud and rubbed Elizabeth's soft hair.

  The rest of the breakfast was enjoyed in harmony. Once they finished eating, Caesar picked up Renee, once again, and looked towards Joe.

  "Come to my room in an hour or so," He said.

  "Pssh, one hour? You sure don't last that long," Joe put on a mocking smile while looking at Caesar carrying Renee.

  "Hmph, he lasts way longer than you would little man," Renee said mockingly and glared at Joe.

  Caesar rolled his eyes at the both of them and carried on walking to his room, once he reached his office, he placed Renee on the bed "I am going to go get Edward, wait here for me" Caesar said towards Renee that was sitting on the bed.

  Without waiting for her reply, Caesar quickly rushed out of the room and headed towards the palace gates. He passed the many maids and butlers until finally; those huge doors were reflected in his eyes.

  "Have a safe trip, your highness!" The guards said respectfully as Caesar approached.

  "Thank you, I will be back soon" Caesar replied shortly and walked out of the palace, he walked down the broad granite steps and headed for the training grounds where Edward usually resided.

  He passed the busy streets and soon made it to the training grounds, Edward was busy teaching many of the knights his sword techniques.

  "That reminds me, I need to read more of that sword art in that book my father gave me," Caesar thought to himself when he saw Edward teach the knights.

  Caesar waited a few minutes until Edward was finally done giving a demonstration, once he finished up, Caesar strode forward and greeted him.

  "Edward, let's go back to the palace… I have some things we need to discuss."

  Edward turned around and nodded his head. "I was planning on talking to you today anyway. I'm surprised you came to me first, though," Edward replied with a smile.

  "Well, let's hurry and head back, Renee is waiting for us."

  Edward nodded his head thoughtfully and walked behind Caesar. The knights didn't even notice Caesar's appearance, and they continued to work hard on their sword practice.

  Caesar and Edward made their way to the palace in silence; they shortly arrived at the palace steps and walked up the stairs.

  "Welcome back, your highness" The guards greeted respectfully.

  Caesar nodded his head and walked inside. He walked through the long halls and entered into his room.

  Both Caesar and Edward walked in and were greeted by a sleeping Renee; Caesar shook his head wryly and pulled a table out in front of the bed quietly.

  "It should be some time before that damn dwarf gets here anyway. We will let her sleep for a while," Caesar whispered to Edward.

  Edward glanced between Renee and Caesar back and forth for a few seconds, being s
miling knowingly and nodding his head in acceptance.

  CHAPTER THIRTEEN

  Caesar and Edward waited for another 30 minutes until finally, they could hear a light knock on the door.

  "It's me, Joe, I had to ask around to find out where your room was" Joe whispered from the other side of the door.

  Caesar opened the door and gestured for Joe to sit down at the table, he went over to the bed and gently nudged Renee, "it's time to get up, Renee" He said gently.
