CEO in a Fantasy World 2 Page 10
Caesar walked until he saw a large wooden signpost above two relatively large wooden doors.
Caesar lightly knocked on the door and waited for a reply.
"Please come in."
Once Caesar heard Sebastian's familiar voice, he opened the doors and stepped in.
"Ah, it was you, young master… you need not knock before letting yourself in," Sebastian bowed after seeing Caesar walk through the doors.
The trainee maids that were being trained also bowed down after seeing Sebastian's respective attitude, the maid on the far right; however, once she saw Caesar, a sharp glint appeared in her eyes.
Caesar noticed this anomaly but didn't pay it much heed and walked towards Sebastian.
"I need you to prepare two carriages and plenty of food supplies for me in two days," Caesar said straightforwardly.
"How much food do you require? If you are going on a great journey, we need to give you lots of dry foods," Sebastian scratched his cheek and asked curiously.
Caesar stroked his chin "enough supplies for 5 to eat on a 2-month journey."
Sebastian's eyes nearly popped out, and he leaned in closer to whisper in Caesar's ear, "t-two months, where the hell are you going?" he asked perplexed.
"Well, we don't need that many supplies… but you never know how much that dwarf will eat," Caesar whispered back in Sebastian's ear.
"Sigh, I will prepare the things you need. They will arrive in two days. You have my word," Sebastian breathed a sigh of relief and replied.
"Thank you, Sebastian. I will be heading towards the training grounds for today. I need to make sure my soldiers are still in shape" Caesar thanked Sebastian and walked out of the servant training room.
Once Caesar left the room, Sebastian turned around and glared at the maid that looked at Caesar with a sharp glint.
"Why did you look at the crown prince so disrespectfully?" Sebastian asked with a slightly angry tone.
"I need this job, but I will not bow to that monster, the hypocrisy this kingdom runs on is disgusting" The maid challenged Sebastian's glare and practically roared out.
Sebastian tilted his head and asked the girl in confusion, "what are you talking about?"
"Hmph, everyone praises that man as a hero, but, my dad taught me that only those who save and resolve conflict without killing could be considered a hero," The maid snapped back.
After noticing everyone around her went silent, she smiled confidently and continued.
"He killed all of those elves and other humans without a change in his expression. A normal person would at least feel some guilt? I hate how the people in this kingdom look up to that monster as if he were an angel."
Sebastian shook his head with a wry smile "he willingly became a monster to protect the people in the kingdom… winning wars without killing is simply a fantasy," Sebastian sighed and said soothingly.
"N-no one asked for him to make that sacrifice," The maid retorted.
Sebastian just shook his head "I am going to transfer you to work somewhere else, you are still too young… maybe one day you will understand"
"Okay… why is no one on my side?" The young girl looked down and answered slightly sad

Caesar exited the servants quarters and headed towards the palace gates, once he arrived, the guards bowed respectfully and opened the gates.
"Have a safe trip, your highness."
Caesar nodded his head and walked past them, he walked down the long staircase and swiftly made it to the training grounds.

The knights were all busy doing different types of training, some were running, and others were practicing their sword techniques.
Caesar clapped his hands loudly to gain their attention and walked towards the middle of the training grounds; the knights all shifted their gaze to Caesar and roared out.
"We greet the Marshall!"
Caesar smiled nostalgically and roared, "Line up!"
"Yes, sir!"
The knights hustled toward Caesar and lined up in front of him. They all anticipated what he would order next.
"Do you all remember our past training, what we would do after each training session?" Caesar asked with a smile.
"A mock battle!" The knights all roared in excitement.
Caesar nodded his head, "that's right. Let us have one last grand battle, but, this time, it's for fun."
"Hoorah!"
"Haha, I can't wait to see how much we have improved."
The knights conversed with themselves as they energetically went to the weapon racks and picked up their weapons. Caesar also walked towards the weapon racks and picked up two spadroons.
The knights look at Caesar with curiosity, "why is the Marshall getting weapons?" they thought to themselves and got into position at the corners of the training grounds.
Caesar walked to the middle of the training grounds and was surrounded by all of the knights, he held both of his swords tightly and roared out.
"If we do the mock battles the same as last time, that would be boring, wouldn't it?" Caesar asked curiously and scanned the training grounds.
"Whichever group can land a blow on me will be awarded 20 gold coins."
"2-20 gold coins?"
"I can buy so many things with that much money."
"Hehe, I can stop by the b-brothel."
The knights all smiled widely and talked amongst themselves with excitement.
Caesar suddenly moved his feet and entered into an attacking stance "that is, of course, if you can hit me," He said sarcastically.
The knights all gulped audibly and started to encircle Caesar.
"Oi, what's the plan buddy," Knight A said.
"Who knows, I feel as though we are walking into hell's jaws," Knight B said.
"If you die, I will take care of your wife," Knight C said.
"Ok, guys, I got a great idea… Hey, are you guys listening?" Knight D asked.
"I stopped listening after I heard you say the word 'idea,'" Knight E said.
"Hey, can you fools hurry up!" Caesar roared impatiently.
In the middle of the training grounds, Caesar smiled widely, "Hopefully. I can gain a percentage today. I feel like I am going to have a qualitative change once I pass ten percent." he thought to himself as he raised both swords.
CHAPTER SIXTEEN
The knights that had encircled Caesar all possessed slightly hesitant expressions on their faces, and they closed the distance carefully and slowly.
"Fine, if you don't want to come to me… I will come to you!" Caesar said with a wide smile.
Caesar stomped the ground and practically flew towards the knights in front of him, large fissures erupted below the land where his foot had stomped.
Like a gust of wind, Caesar immediately closed the distance between him and the knights. He swung his sword down vertically before they could even react.
The knight he swung at didn't even have time to blink his eyes before he was already knocked unconscious, the knights behind him were pushed a few steps back just from the sheer force.
All of this happened in a matter of a split second, right after Caesar struck down the first one he moved to the second one.
"CLOSE HIM IN, and DON'T GIVE HIM ANY MOVING ROOM," a knight roared.
The knights immediately broke out of their stupor after hearing the roar, they all charged ferociously at Caesar as to not let him have another chance at attacking.
"This is more like it!" Caesar said excitedly and dashed towards his next target. This time the Knights were prepared and stabbed forward.
Caesar continued to run at them without stopping, the three sword's trajectory moved as if moved in slow motion. He dodged them in a zig-zag pattern and stabbed their abdomen with his wooden swords.
The three knights bodies flew out of the encirclement and landed a far distance away, no one even saw what happened.
"DON'T FRET, WE HAVE SUPERIOR NUMBERS!" a knight roared out.
&
nbsp; Caesar smiled, "he is right, even if I am superior in strength and speed… Even I have a limit to my endurance."
Caesar kicked off the ground once again and slashed down at the nearby knights. His sword movements were no longer rough like they used to be, on the contrary, they appeared to be quite graceful.
The Knights attacked Caesar from all sides. He rotated his sword at phenomenal speeds to block the attacks coming from his behind and front… Caesar slightly leaned down and moved forward while swinging both swords as quickly as possible.
Multiple knights would be blasted away with each swing. However, the knights were relentless… When one fell, another would take his place.
Caesar was beginning to tire, accurately blocking and attacking was draining his energy at an accelerated rate. Caesar ground his teeth, and his muscles were taut.
The knights around Caesar figured this was their chance and all stabbed towards him without hesitation.
Caesar jumped up at the last second and the swords collided with each other, Caesar placed his foot on one of the blades and rushed forward, he kicked one of the knights away and continued his onslaught once again.
After a few seconds, the Knights finally realized what happened and got back in their formation to pressure Caesar once again.
Caesar gasped for breath and scanned his surroundings, although he took out a large portion, their numbers were far too vast.
"HE'S GETTING TIRED, SURROUND HIM!" a knight roared.
"I won't be that easy," Caesar grumbled and started to swing his swords even faster.
"OOOOHHHHHHH" The knights gave out a battle cry as they also swung towards Caesar.
Caesar furrowed his brows… "they are much more coordinated than they were before… I am impressed." He thought quietly to himself.
The battle continued for 10 minutes… 20 minutes… 30 minutes… 60 minutes.
Until finally, one of the knights struck down at his back, Caesar lifted his hand to block but, his muscles cramped, and he could no longer lift the sword above his head.
Silence enveloped the entire training grounds. The knight's sword landed on Caesar's shoulder, causing all of the knights present to halt their actions.
Caesar raised his eyes and studied the knight in front of him. He looked relatively average and had a massive smile on his face.
"What is your name?"
"John!" The knight answered excitedly.
Caesar took out a coin from his pocket and flipped it into the knight's hands.
"show that to the palace guards and ask for Sebastian, he will give your reward to you."
Caesar slowly strolled through the many knights that surrounded him and walked over the multitude of unconscious bodies.
"You have all improved greatly since the last time we fought, I commend all of you," Caesar said with a slightly tired tone while walking away.
"Tsk, even with all of that, I still didn't gain one percentage" Caesars clicked his tongue in annoyance and didn't turn back to face the knights that were also tired.
Once Caesar's back was no longer in sight, all of the knights immediately collapsed on the ground and started breathing heavily.
"I don't even care about the reward, I am never fighting the Marshall again," Knight A said exasperatedly.
"Tell me about it… and fuckin John gets to take the reward money" Knight B said with anguish
"I guess we should take all of these guys home…" Knight C said while looking at all of the unconscious knights.
All of the remaining knights nodded their heads in agreement and started to move the unconscious guys back to their homes.
Caesar walked steadily back to the palace. He was in deep contemplation. "I pushed my body to the limits, and I have been drinking Renee's blood somewhat frequently… Could it be that it just takes a much longer time, or perhaps there is a method to speed the process up? Caesar brainstormed to himself while walking.
The many civilians all showed a happy smile and bowed respectfully whenever they caught sight of Caesar. The bolder women would even whistle and wave at him.
Caesar tended to flash the citizens a smile or wave back, but this time he carried a serious expression and didn't pay them much heed. This caused many of the citizens to look at Caesar with a worried look.
He soon arrived at the palace gates, the guards bowed down and slowly opened the gates.
"Welcome back, your highness," they said, respectfully.
Caesar nodded his head and walked inside, the ordinarily peaceful palace was replaced with frantic butlers and maids running all over the place.
He looked at this scene, confused, and grabbed the arm of the nearest butler, "what is going on?" Caesar asked curiously.
The butler turned around in shock, once he saw Caesar's face he breathed a sigh of relief and bowed deeply "the king has ordered for a grand ball tomorrow, it is said that a method will be announced to help the poor in need and help the families of fallen soldiers survive… It is also a formal celebration for our victory," The butler explained calmly.
"A celebration that only nobles are attending?" Caesar tilted his head and asked, confused.
"The ball will encompass the entire palace and courtyard; all of the citizens are invited… It will be the first grand ball in which commoners and nobles alike can drink from the same table," the butler said with stars in his eyes.
Caesar let go of the butler's arm and nodded in understanding "it seems as though the left-wing has discovered a solution to the insurance problem… My father also seems to be trying to destroy the rift between nobles and commoners" Caesar smiled in gratification and headed towards his room.
The king was probably not only celebrating those two things but also because Caesar was leaving in two days… Caesar soon made it to his room and opened the door.
"You have finally decided to show yourself," Renee said from the bed as she stood up and started walking towards him.
"You're the one that disappeared in the first place, haha" Caesar chuckled and looked at the big basket she was carrying.
Renee rolled her eyes and placed the covered basket at Caesar's feet, "you told me to bring you all of the things I needed for the trip, make sure not to look inside" Renee said sternly and radiated killing intent.
Caesar inspected the basket curiously but just shrugged his shoulders and put it inside of his storage ring.
"Y-you have a spatial ring?!?!" Renee asked wide-eyed.
Caesar raised his eyes and smiled like it was the most obvious thing in the world, "Of course I do, you don't?"
"O-of course I don't, do you know how much those things cost? Only the richest and the high-grade priests from the church have them," Renee said quickly while looking at the ring with stars in her eyes.
Caesar slowly glanced at the ring on his finger and thought to himself, "I wonder how many people in this world have proposed with this ring," he laughed inside.
Caesar shook his head with a wry smile and patted Renee on the head, "I will get one for you," he said soothingly.
"Really? Thank you so much!" Renee practically jumped up and down in excitement, which woman didn't like beautiful and expensive things? Renee was no exception.
Caesar suddenly grabbed her arm and pulled her into his embrace, "of course, you are going to need to repay me," He said seductively and whispered into her ear.
"I-I don't have anything worth that much."
Caesar chuckled lightly and whispered into her ear once again, "you have something worth much more than a mere spatial ring," he said as he moved his mouth down to her neck.
Caesar inserted his fangs into her neck, Renee's limbs went taut, and she hugged Caesar's neck tightly.
"Mmhmm" Renee let out a deep moan and collapsed into Caesar's embrace, not wanting to absorb too much mana, Caesar soon parted from her neck and smiled at the limp Renee in his arms.
"I feel as though you don't lose out on this deal, though, from my understanding… This is a win-win situation for y
ou," He said seductively while looking at her limp and satisfied face.
"S-shut up you idiot" Renee slurred and soon fell asleep in his arms, Caesar picked her up and gently placed her on the bed. Caesar also crawled in bed and closed his eyes, "The party tomorrow is going to be stressful…" he thought inwardly as he passed into a deep sleep.
